LEARNING PERSONALLY TO DO GOD’S WILL
This is one learning experience of mine a long time ago when living in India.
As a Pastor's wife I was getting Sunday School children ready for a program during Christmas week.
At the end of one of the practice sessions when I came home I just flopped into a chair and said (to no one in particular) "I'm so tired."
The Holy Ghost said to me, "Who asked you?" I was so shocked and felt I received a slap on my face for going through all this trouble all these days for nothing. All my tiredness just disappeared!
Then I realized what He meant was, "YOU" need not have done this particular job. It would have been alright for someone else to do it.
I learned that many times we are busy doing things that God never intended we should do and also there are times when we fail TO DO WHAT HE WANTS US TO DO.
Over a period of time I have learned to wait for God to Sovereignly lead the way or to indicate whether I should or should not volunteer.
HE IS SO GOOD AND SO KIND AS HE LEADS AND GUIDES AND PROVIDES FOR HE IS THE SHEPHERD OF HIS SHEEP!
God bless you
