CONSIDER JUDAS ISCARIOT'S FALL

.CONSIDER JUDAS ISCARIOT’S FALL

Judas was one of the 12 disciples that Jesus Christ chose to be His followers.

Judas believed that Jesus was the Messiah and gave up all to follow Jesus. He was learning and being influenced by the Master! All the disciples thought that Jesus came to deliver them from the Roman Government and He will set up His own kingdom and they wanted to be part of His governing body. James and John wanted to sit one on the right and one on the left side of Jesus in His Kingdom. Judas was looking after the money bag and was a thief although he pretended to care for the poor. John 12:6 Judas was given ministry along with the others and he too came back rejoicing that the demons were subject to them. Jesus showed them that the greater thing was to have one’s name in the Book of Life. Jesus only through fore-knowledge knew (John 6: 64) that Judas was going to betray Him but the others did not know this; and yet He did not treat him differently to the others. In Mark 14: 10-21 we read he Lord said, “Woe…” to the one who betrays Him and it is the same today!

How did Judas fall into this trap even though he partook of the emblems in communion! HIS HEART WAS NOT RIGHT - there was the love of money besides wanting A POSITION in the Lord’s government. He also enjoyed the FAME & POPULARITY as a disciple of the Lord. However, soon everything began to change and the popularity of Jesus began to wane and there were many false accusations and there were so many, many opinions of the Lord that caused him DOUBTS in his mind against the Lord! There was an opportunity to get on the other side and MAKE SOME MONEY too, so he went to the chief priests to betray the Lord. He was no longer wholly committed unto the Lord nor His cause! Satan is gaining ground over him and he was not aware of it. Then after communion and after supper the devil entered him. Jesus revealed that he was to betray Him and told him to go and do what he had planned to do! John 13: 20- 27

IS THIS NOT PATHETIC? ARE THERE NOT SUCH PEOPLE IN THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST TODAY? THEIR HEARTS ARE NOT RIGHT WITH GOD AND THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD IS GAINING POWER OVER THEM AND THEY ARE NOT AWARE OF IT? THEY LIVE DOUBLE LIVES FOR THEIR COMMITMENT AND LOYALITY TO THE LORD AND HIS CAUSE IS DYING. A LITTLE COMPROMISE OF THE TRUTH (JESUS IS THE TRUTH) TO GAIN SOME PLACE OR POPULARITY SEEMS GOOD. WE WILL BE WISE TO DO WHAT THE WORD OF GOD SAYS no matter what! IT MAY COST YOU SOMETHING TO STAND FOR TRUTH BUT IT SHOWS LOYALITY TO HIS WORD WHICH IS FOREVER SETTLED IN HEAVEN AND CANNOT BE CHANGED NO MATTER THE COUNTRY YOU LIVE IN AND ITS CULTURE OR STYLE! GOD IS OVER ALL, ALL THE TIME AND HE SEES YOUR HEART BEING DIVIDED! BACKSLIDING STARTS IN THE HEART WHEN YOU ARE FILLED WITH YOUR OWN WAYS AND MOVING AWAY FROM WHAT YOU KNOW IS THE TRUTH!!

Are you conscious that Jesus Christ knows your heart and all its thoughts? He sees and knows what is going on while others do not know and you also may be taking communion as a ritual and giving tithes? In Songs of Solomon 2: 15 we read that the little foxes spoil the vine! Are you aware of little doubts, or fears, or little habitual sins of lying or stealing or that your worship is no more in spirit and in truth? Or is there confusion in your following the Lord in the comparisons you make? THESE ARE LITTLE FOXES, BEWARE! Is there truth in the inward parts? And true holiness Yhat you follow whether man understands you or not? Are you still GOD-CONSCIOUS OR MAN-CONSCIOUS?

1) Personal interests Vs God’s purposes?

2) Compromises Vs Truth of God’s Word? Shady dealings, white lies?

3) Worldliness Vs holiness? (Come out from among them, be separate?)

4) Fleshly/carnal/humanistic views Vs Holy Spirit’s convictions inside?

5) Love of money Vs neglect of doing the will of God?

6) A plastic God Vs the true and the living God? (He cannot see, He cannot hear you except when you pray etc. etc.

Let us read 1 Cor. 10: 1-10 and let us turn from being led astray or side-tracked by the enemy. Live in the light of God’s Word and know we will each one meet Jesus Christ when we die and let us not hear Him not call us “workers of iniquity” for not DOING THE FATHER’S WILL. Matt.7: 20-29

You do believe He is coming soon for a Bride without spot or wrinkle, who is Holy and totally committed and loyal to Him and has nothing to do with the works of darkness! Then this is the time to get ready and adjust your life and know that your heart does not condemn you. Repent NOW while THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS SPEAKING TO YOU! There is a way that seems right to a man but the end thereof is death – eternal separation from God which means hell.

No sin (small or big) will be allowed into Heaven, particularly after Jesus Christ has put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself at Calvary! Sin still separates man from God for God is Holy and Righteous and Just! If we still continue to willfully sin after we have received the knowledge of truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins; but a fearful looking for of the judgment and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries. Heb. 10: 22-31

Again, read in 2 Peter 2:15-22 where we are warned not to turn away from the truth, and likens such, as a dog returning to its vomit.

Let us take a little time and allow the Holy Spirit to search our hearts as we read the Word of God referred to above, to enable us to set things right NOW.

Our Lord Jesus Christ in our midst at every gathering, by fore-knowledge knows where you and I will be in eternity (heaven or hell). Jesus Christ, the Head of His Church is giving us another opportunity to repent before it is too late for He is not wiling that any should perish, BUT THE CHOICE IS OURS! May we not harden our hearts for our Lord is coming soon!

LEARNING PERSONALLY TO DO GOD'S WILL

LEARNING PERSONALLY TO DO GOD’S WILL

This is one learning experience of mine a long time ago when living in India.

As a Pastor's wife I was getting Sunday School children ready for a program during Christmas week.

At the end of one of the practise sessions when I came home I just flopped into a chair and said (to no one in particular) "I'm so tired."

The Holy Ghost said to me, "Who asked you?" I was so shocked and felt I received a slap on my face for going through all this trouble all these days for nothing. All my tiredness just disappeared!

Then I realized what He meant was, "YOU" need not have done this particular job. It would have been alright for someone else to do it.

I learned that many times we are busy doing things that God never intended we should do and also there are times when we fail TO DO WHAT HE WANTS US TO DO.

Over a period of time I have learned to wait for God to Sovereignly lead the way or to indicate whether I should or should not volunteer.

HE IS SO GOOD AND SO KIND AS HE LEADS AND GUIDES AND PROVIDES FOR HE IS THE SHEPHERD OF HIS SHEEP!

God bless you

BEFORE & AFTER THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST

Posted by Margaret Wright on September 9, 2011 at 10:40 AM Comments comments (0)

BEFORE & AFTER THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST!

(Sunday – August 7th, 2011)

The God of the Bible is the Only true and Living God, the Creator of the Universe and all living things, including mankind!

God is Sovereignly in control of all persons, all things and all circumstances and He rules in the kingdom of men!

God is at work all the time though unnoticed by man!

God is the same and changes not!

God is Righteous and Just in character and He sees the end from the beginning so He cannot make a mistake!

God cannot lie (Numbers 23: 19) and so His Word never changes!

What He said happened and what He promised will happen!

Man lost his standing, his communion and fellowship with God in Eden

Sin (big or small) still separates from God for God is Holy!

Man had to now rely on his five senses to fend for himself and defend himself and so became a slave to God’s enemy, Satan.

All God’s way’s and all He acts have been recorded and preserved for us in the Old Testament.

All that happened when God sent His Son, Jesus Christ into the world as promised by Him in the Garden of Eden in spite of man’s fall; and all that Jesus Christ did and promised have been recorded and preserved for us in the New Testament!

These two Testaments or Covenants form the Bible, the Word of God!

Heaven and earth shall pass away but His Word shall not pass away

Man is warned not to add nor take away from the Word. Rev.22: 18, 19

THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST DIVIDES BETWEEN THESE TWO TESTAMENTS OR COVENANTS.

According to the Bible BEFORE THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST

Man finds himself – (BEFORE CONVERSION)

Under Satan and Without God Eph. 2: 12

Without Christ Eph. 2: 12

No real life Eph. 2: 1

No Hope Eph. 2: 12

No Peace Isa, 57: 21

No Escape Rom. 2: 3

Bound for Hell - MAN IS LOST

According to the Bible AFTER THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST

Man finds himself – (AFTER CONVERSION)

Under Christ & God is his Father John 1: 12

Has Christ as Savior John 4: 42

Has Everlasting Life - John 3: 16

Has Holy Spirit to Guide John 16: 13

A sure Hope Heb. 6: 19

Has Peace with God Rom 5: 1

Bound for Heaven - SAVED

Many believers think that the O.T. people were so close to God and God seemed more powerful than today. They were not born-again believers.

We need to understand who we are IN CHRIST and then act on His Word and God will confirm His Word to you. Read Heb. 1: 1-3 and Heb. 2: 1- 3

We need to understand that there is a distinction between BEFORE

AND AFTER THE CROSS OF CHRIST!

Before the Cross- THEN After the Cross – NOW

The Holy Spirit was upon them The Holy Spirit is within us

It was their history It is our experience

It was Jesus of sacred history It is Jesus of sacred living

It was Christ with them It is Christ IN US

It was Bible description of yesterday It is Bible action of the present

It was revelation It is now manifestation

His example in human flesh His reality in our flesh

It was God in Christ – a Jew Christ IN our flesh – all races

God through Christ then Christ through us in our days

God sent Jesus Christ sends us as witnesses

JESUS CHRIST IS OUR EXAMPLE AND THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH SHOULD CONTINUE TO DO AND TEACH WHAT JESUS BEGAN TO DO AND TEACH (ACTS 1: 1-4) LIKE THE DISCIPLES DID AFTER BEING BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY GHOST.

THE HOLY SPIRIT DOES NOT REPLACE CHRIST BUT HE REVEALS CHRIST AS HE LIVES IN US & THROUGH US.

THE BOOK OF ACTS CONTINUES TO BE WRITTEN THROUGH ALL THE JESUS-MEN AND JESUS-WOMEN ALL OVER THE WORLD DEMONSTRATING THE DEFEAT OF SATAN’S DOMINION OVER MANKIND THROUGH THE NAME OF JESUS.

Believers. We need to grow up from being children, to being SONS/DAUGHTERS OF GOD and take back from the devil what JESUS CHRIST HAS PROVIDED FOR US THROUGH HIS PRECIOUS SACRIFICE ON THE CROSS OF CALVARY!!!

We are HEIRS OF GOD and JOINT-HEIRS WITH CHRIST!

Are you baptized with the real Holy Ghost? then you have received HOLY GHOST POWER as stated in Acts 1: 8

THE HOLY GHOST IS GOD. HE CAME ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST TO CONVICT THE WORLD OF SIN, OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUDGMENT TO COME! (John 16: 7- 16)

JESUS CHRIST says, “ALL POWER HAS BEEN GIVEN UNTO ME IN HEAVEN AND IN EARTH. GO YE THEREFORE, AND TEACH ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND OF THE SON, AND THE HOLY GHOST! TEACHING THEM TO OBSERVE ALL THINGS WHATSOEVER I HAVE COMMANDED YOU: AND LO, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, EVEN UNTO THE END OF THIS WORLD.” (MAT. 28: 18- 20)

Often believers are running after signs, whereas Jesus Christ Said, “GO YE INTO ALL THE WORLD, AND PREACH THE GOSPEL TO EVERY CREATURE. HE THAT BELIEVETH AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED; BUT HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT SHALL BE DAMNED. AND THESE SIGNS SHALL FOLLOW THEM THAT BELIEVE: IN MY NAME SHALL THEY CAST OUT DEVILS: THEY SHALL SPEAK WITH NEW TONGUES; THEY SHALL TAKE UP SERPENTS, AND IF THEY DRINK ANY DEADLY THING, IT SHALL NOT HURT THEM; THEY SHALL LAY HANDS ON THE SICK, AND THEY SHALL RECOVER. Mark 16: 15- 18

Since we live AFTER THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST, let us rise up as born-again SONS AND DAUGHTERS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD (Col. 1: 12, 14) and turn our world (wherever you live) upside down, for JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE AND HE IS LORD!!

MOTHER'S QUIET TIME EXPERIENCE

MOTHER’S QUIET TIME EXPERIENCE!

When my mother was 70 years she had one breast removed due to cancer and the Specialist gave her two tablets to take for the rest of her life and she took them for some time.

One day during her quiet time with the Lord, He said to her, "May, are those two tablets keeping you alive?"

She answered, "No Lord, You give me breath each day."

Later in the day, when it was time to take tablets, she remembered what she said to the Lord and did not take them. She threw all of them away!

She is now 92 years and keeps good health since that time and has not had any need for medication.

Five years after the operation the Specialist sent a circular letter to all his patients to stop taking those tablets at once since it has been discovered that they have bad side effects.

I wrote to the Specialist telling him exactly what Mum had shared with us and how she had stopped taking those tablets 5 years earlier. Praise God!

WE DO PRAISE GOD FOR HIS GOODNESS AND MERCIES TO US!

The Importance of Spiritual Growth with your survival tests

The Importance of Spiritual Growth with your survival tests

Looking back at the incident of churches being bombed or being attacked in my own beloved country, Malaysia. I am deeply hurt but in the same time I knew the trials is needed as Lord is speaking to Christian in this end time through below prophecy, I like to encourage you to read on and relate it to your personal life with Christ and meditate on it.

Pray and talk to Him in your own private time, let Him know your decision for your next journey with Christ. The Lord have show me many visions which I yet to share, HE IS GOING TO TAKE THIS NATION BY STORM, and it will come to pass.

I love my country Malaysia very much and I know God love the souls more than I do, Jesus have died for all of us.

Attached is a link to this beautiful country.

http://all-about-malaysia-info.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html

What about you, are you with God or you decide to quit and bail out on God?

************************************************************************

The following prophecy was given to my brother Chris on 5/27/03 by his friend Andrea. I have emailed several other prophecies that Andrea has received from the Lord. I personally believe this woman truly hears from God and that all of the prophecies that we have received from her were really from the Lord.

She called Chris up the other day and told him that she had received a personal Word specifically for him. For those of you who have been through any kind of "God-valley" - check out the specific things Chris was tested on in his own personal valley walk with the Lord. There is major revelation in the statements being made by the Lord in this prophecy. In the things He specifically mentions as being tested, we are given insight into exactly what God is testing us out on when He does drop us into these valleys.

This is all very similar to what God did with the Israelites in the desert in the Old Testament. They were all put out in the desert for 40 years before being allowed to go into the Promised Land. God tells us in the Bible that the reason He did this was to test them - to see if they would hold fast to Him during those trying times.

All of them flunked their test and everyone over 20 years old did not make it into the Promised Land. They all died out in the wilderness due to their lack of faith and belief in God. This personal prophecy to Chris shows how severe some of these tests can be. This is why the Bible says that many are called, but few are chosen. Many people would not make it through these types of severe tests. Here is the prophecy.

The Prophecy

When reading the words of this prophecy, notice that there were 16 specific things Chris was personal tested on. These valleys in the Lord can really be rough stuff. Here is the prophecy word for word:

You have survived the time test;

you have survived the servant test;

you have survived the discouragement test;

you have survived the Word test;

you have survived the character test;

you have survived the motivation test;

you have survived the wilderness test;

you have survived the misunderstanding test;

you have survived the patience test;

you have survived the frustration test;

you have survived the warfare test;

you have survived the self-will test;

you have survived the vision test;

you have survived the temptation test;

you have survived the obedience test;

you have survived the promotion test.

Because you have survived, I have raised you up to be a partaker of the final move of My Spirit upon the earth.

Notice that God uses the word "survive" instead of the word "passed" - which seems to really emphasize the severity of these valleys and tests.

Notice the very last sentence: " ... final move of My Spirit upon the earth." I believe this shows that we may be officially heading into end time waters as prophesied out of the Bible.

The Specific Tests:

1. The Time Test

Most of these valleys will have some kind of length to them. For many, some of these valleys can last anywhere from 4-15 years - and for some, even longer than that. God will really test you to see if you will stay the course with Him for the entire length of the valley and not bail out on Him.

2. The Servant Test

We are called to be servants for God. He is the Boss - we are the employees. We work for Him - not for ourselves or for anyone else in this life. God will test each one of us to see if we will serve Him or our own self and own self-interests.

3. The Discouragement Test

This is really a tough one. God will arrange for a certain amount of adversity to come your way in these valleys in order to test you and to see how you will handle these discouragements and setbacks when they do come your way.

God will arrange to have you knocked to the mat - and then He will sit back and see if you will get back up again and continue on or if you will throw in the towel and quit on Him. Many people have lost their calls in God because they could not properly handle the different types of discouragements that came their way in these valleys.

4. The Word Test

During this time, God will raise you up in the knowledge of Him and all of His ways through the study of His Word - the Bible. These valleys are for many, their greatest periods of spiritual growth.

Will you really grab a hold of God and seek to study and learn more about Him and all of His ways by studying the Bible while you are out in this kind of wilderness - or will you be too distracted by all of the adversity that has hit you in this valley?

Those that continue to press on through hell and high water and seek after God during these trying times will be the ones who will make it to the finish line and cross over into their Promised Land this side of heaven.

5. The Character Test

God will find out what you are really made of when He drops you in these valleys. These tough times have a way of squeezing and pruning out the character flaws that God wants to take out of your personality.

Allow God to take out the character flaws that He doesn't want operating in you - and you will stand a very good chance of being able to make it all the way to the finish line. Jesus specifically tells us in a verse out of Revelation that those who are over comers in this life will be the ones to rule the nations of the world with Him in the coming millennium and new heaven and new earth kingdoms.

6. The Motivation Test

God will see how serious you really are about Him and your desire to follow and obey Him. He will test your motives to see if they are pure enough - whether or not you want God's call on your life for His glorification or for your own glorification.

God will use these valleys to prune out the people that are not really serious about wanting to serve Him - much in the same way that an army boot camp will weed out the ones who are not serious enough on wanting to become real soldiers.

7. The Wilderness Test

This refers to the fact that many are thrown out into a wilderness type setting during these valleys. Many will lose contact with some of their friends during this time. You will fell isolated and alone.

Kind David lived in a cave for years before God pulled him out and made him King of Israel. Moses lived in the backside of the desert for 40 years before God called him out to rescue His people from the Egyptians. By isolating you like this, God will be able to draw you that much closer to Him because there will be minimal distraction and activity occurring in your life.

God will take out all of the barriers that will keep you from being able to bond and graft into Him. The Bible tells us that we are the branches and Jesus is the vine. The branch completely leans on and relies upon the vine for its nourishment and support. The wilderness setting is where you will really be able to bond and graft into the Lord because you will have little of anything else left to distract you.

8. The Misunderstanding Test

In this kind of a valley, many people will think you are nuts and that you have gone off the deep end. They can't understand why you are not producing more fruit for God if you are really serving and following after Him.

In this stage, there is only minimal fruit bearing because God is stripping you down till there is nothing left but you and Him. He is testing you out to see if you have what it takes to be a real soldier for Him. As a result, you will go through some very lean and dry times.

David did not bear any major fruit for God and become the King of Israel while he was living in the cave. He did not properly fruit out for God until after he was released from the cave - when he then became King of all of Israel.

Many people will misunderstand exactly what God is doing with you and why He is doing this. Many Christians do not have much knowledge about these kinds of God-valleys, why God allows them to occur, and exactly what He is trying to do with us during these lean and dry times. You will thus have to keep a lot of what is going on between yourselves and your closest friends.

9. The Patience Test

In our day and age, this specific test is really a tough one to get a passing mark on. We are used to instant everything. When God drops you into this kind of lengthy valley - your patience will be sorely and severely tested!

Do you have the patience to stay the course with the Lord until the valley ends? If not, and you bail out on God before it ends, then you will lose your call with Him and lose any chance to enter into whatever His "best" would have been for you in this life.

This one specific test has caused many to bail out too early because they couldn't handle the length of the valley. Joyce Meyer has said she has met many people who have lost their calls in the Lord in the bottom of the ninth inning - all because they had bailed out right before they were getting ready to break through into their true calls.

Any lack of patience you may experience in these valleys has simply got to be overridden by sheer will power, sheer perseverance, and constant pep talks to yourself that you are not going to quit - no matter how long the valley lasts and no matter how bad things may get from time to time.

10. The Frustration Test

This test is similar to the discouragement test. When discouragement starts to set in, frustration will usually follow right after it. Your fuses start to shorten. The least little thing may set you off. You are so frustrated in not being able to make anything work, that you find yourself starting to throw major temper tantrums.

God is actually okay with some of these temper tantrums. They are normal human reactions to severe adversity. What God is testing you on is whether or not you are going to stay in the game and keep pressing on - or if you will let your frustration levels get the best of you and cause you to quit and throw in the towel and walk off of His playing field.

Throw all of the temper tantrums you want, but do not ever walk off of God's playing field for your life! If you do, you will lose your call in Him and you will then carry an eternal regret that you blew your one and only chance to leave your own personal mark on this world with whatever God would have called you to do for Him in this life.

Actually, what you will find if you don't quit and bail out on God, is that your temper tantrums will start to decrease in frequency and severity over the course of the valley. This is because you will find that they will not change anything and you are just expending useless negative energy.

If you stay with it, you will actually start to gain more self-control over your emotions - and this is exactly what God is trying to work in you in the first place! The quality of self-control is one of the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit.

11. The Warfare Test

With the different types of adversity that will come against you in these valleys, God will test your desire to fight and war against some of these adversities. Will you sit back and allow these adversities to defeat you and knock you out of the game - or will you toughen up and face each one of these adversities head on to defeat them?

God will give you His power to defeat these adversities - but only if you are willing to step out and use His power to take these storm clouds head on. Again, this is where God will see what you are really made of.

The Bible tells us that if we faint in the day of any kind of adversity, that our strength will be considered small in the eyes of God. God wants to raise you up to be a good fighting soldier for Him - and the only way He can do this is to throw you into some of these pits and storm clouds to see how you will handle them.

If you choose to fight and take these adversities head on, then God will anoint you with His power and you will grow stronger and mightier in His anointing. Run away and not take your problems head on and you will lose any chance of being able to make it into God's call and best for your life. Just like marine boot camp - their goal is to find out which soldiers are fit for combat and which ones are not. The weak ones are pruned out and are asked to leave and walk off the playing field.

If you can't take the adversity and battles that God will arrange to come your way in this valley - then you will never be able to handle the adversities and battles that will come your way once you enter into your real call for Him.

These valleys are where God weeds out the ones who are too weak to become true soldiers for Him. Again, this is why the Bible says that many are called but few are chosen. Few are willing to allow God to mold and transform them into true battle-hardened warriors and soldiers.

These warfare tests that God will bring your way will determine whether or not you have the qualities and capabilities to become a true soldier of Jesus Christ. Pass all of these tests, and you will then be promoted into God's best for your life. Flunk these tests, and you will then have to settle for God's second best for your life - whatever that may be.

12. The Self-Will Test

In these tough valleys, God will test you as to who you are going to serve - yourself or God. Joshua has said in the Bible to choose this day as to whom you will serve.

God will really test you out on this specific issue. God runs the show - you do not. God calls the shots - you do not. God leads and we follow - not vice versa. You will find your own self-will really trying to come in and take control of your circumstances, even though God may be trying to tell you to do something different.

What you will really be forced to deal with in these types of valleys is who is going to run your life - you or God! You will find that everything you try to do in your own natural strength and in your own natural wisdom will fail. However, you will find that everything you do operating under God's leadings and directions will succeed.

In this valley, God will show you that true success will only come to you if you do everything operating under His leadings and directions - not your own. The Bible tells us that those who are led by the Holy Spirit are the true sons of God. In this valley, God will show you how to be led by His Spirit, how to pick up on His voice and how to discern when it is really Him leading you.

13. The Vision Test

For many, God will give you a vision as to exactly what your call is going to be and exactly where you will be going. He may give you some type of promise to hold onto and that you will receive it if you make it to the end of the valley. The Israelites were told ahead of time that they would inherit the Promised Land. The vision was thus always before them.

These visions are really powerful when you do receive them before you enter into these valleys. These visions will help sustain you. They will help keep you going when the going gets tough because you know what is waiting for you at the end of the road if you can make it all the way to the end.

God will test you by giving you these visions at the beginning of these valleys, and then watch and see if you will stay the course to achieve and reach that vision.

14. The Temptation and Obedience Test

In these valleys will come certain temptations. Jesus was faced with 3 specific temptations from Satan when He went out into the desert. God will not tempt you Himself, but He will "allow" certain temptations to come your way to see how you will handle them. These could be temptations to quit and walk out on God on whatever His call may be for you.

There may be sexual temptations to see if you will stay faithful to your spouse. God may have a hard time calling you into any kind of major ministry if you can't stay faithful to your spouse. Look how the sin of adultery has completely ruined and toppled some of the major TV ministries.

If God allowed Satan to tempt His own Son before He allowed Him to come out of the desert to walk with His anointing - then God is going to test each and every one of us to see if we will succumb to some of these temptations.

Will we choose not to fall into these temptations and stay true and loyal to God and His ways of living for us in this life - or we will succumb and give in, and then end up bringing down judgment and major misfortune on us like Adam and Eve and Samson managed to do?

15. The Promotion Test

Bottom line - God wants to promote you into a higher level of living, a higher level of service. God has a specific plan and purpose for each person's life. God wants to promote you into this higher realm, but you will first have to pass and make it through this tough testing valley before the promotion will come. The Israelites were to be promoted into the Promised Land if they could make it through their wilderness test.

At the end of your own personal valley with the Lord will be your big promotion. If you survive and pass all of these tests in these valleys - then you will be chosen by God for whatever His call is for you in this life. This is where you will truly come into your own personal Promised Land this side of heaven.

For those of you who are either entering or are still in your God-valley - just remember the story of the Israelites. All the Israelites under 20 years of age made it into the Promised Land - which was a land flowing with milk and honey. All of the ones who were over 20 years of age did not pass their wilderness test, and as a result, they all died out in the desert never being able to see all of the blessings that God would of had in store for them on the other side.

In this one powerful prophecy is major knowledge and revelation on exactly what God is testing us on when we do enter into these kinds of God-valleys.

My revelation on 1 John 3: 1 and 2

My revelation on 1 John 3: 1 and 2.

Behold! – look! pay attention to this! consider this! listen to this! hey this is great!

What manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us – what kind of Father’s love is this that is shown to us. This love is not the type we profess or enjoy. We know nothing of this kind of love (our love could be mean, unkind and even murder), but this kind of Father’s love forgives all types of sin and forgets, heals hearts, wounds, sicknesses, comforts by restoring peace, cleanses, restores joy and strength and makes you lift your head again where once it hung in shame; it makes you stand tall and straight, it makes you fell secure and safe for it can never say : “I told you so”: or betray your confidence, this kind of love covers for you, is kind and picks you up when you fall, heals your broken heart, wipes away your tears with sweet assurance, it is pure and true and will always be there, never failing for you can count on it, it never mocks you, it will not make you shrink with shame, but embraces you the way you are, it will not criticize, that flows to you and you can feel the power of it, as it ministers to you, it seems to say, “I know, I know but it is going to be all right, I’ll see to it, I’ll take care, now that you brought it to me, I’ll work it out in my way”. I’ll make crooked things straight, I can make a way where there is no way, I can turn the tide that threatens you to bless you. I can make your enemies to be at peace with you, I can fulfil your dream and desires, and can even do more than you can ask or think. I love you- not mere words- but I have demonstrated my love through My Son, My only Beloved Son. I sacrificed Him on the cross of cruelty, shame and suffering so I can reach you through Him and call you My own, and bring you to live with me in My house forever. I suffered with My Son and We went all the way, because We love you and We want you to belong to Us. You are born of My love and I have bestowed My love to you -

that we (sinners, liars, thieves, adulterers, adulteresses, foul mouthed, depraved, filthy cheats, murderers, wicked, unthankful, proud, full of malice, hatred, hypocrites) - -should be called the sons/daughters of God, (the living God, the Holy God, the Almighty God, the only true God).

Therefore the world (or worldliness or the spirit of this world)                                      knows us not because it knew Him not.

V2 Beloved (my treasure or precious ones)

now are we the sons of God and it doth not yet appear what we shall be (this is a secret to be shown later)

but we know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is – (this is My promise to you.)                                                                                           OH, Hallelujah!!!

THE BIBLE

This BOOK CONTAINS: The mind of God, the state of man,

the way of salvation, the doom of sinners, and the happiness of believers.

It’s doctrines are holy, it’s precepts are binding.

It’s histories are true and it’s decisions are immutable.

Read it to be wise, believe it to be safe and practice it to be holy.

It contains light to direct you, food to support you and comfort to cheer you.

It is the traveller’s map, the pilgrim’s staff, the pilot’s compass,

the soldier’s sword and the Christian’s character.

Here heaven is opened and the gates of hell disclosed.

Christ is its grand subject, our good its design, and the glory of God its end.

It should fill the memory, rule the heart and guide the feet.

Read it slowly, frequently, prayerfully.

It is a mine of wealth, a paradise of glory and a river of pleasure.

It is given you in life, will be opened at the judgment and be remembered forever.

It involves the highest responsibility, will reward the greatest labour

and condemn all who trifle with its sacred contents.

Unknown.

HAVE FAITH IN GOD

Posted by Margaret Wright on February 13, 2011 at 6:52 AM Comments comments (1)

HAVE FAITH IN GOD

Our Scripture reading is found in the Gospel of Luke 18: 1- 8 and note the question asked by our Lord Jesus Christ – shall I find faith on earth when I come?

Note the question of Jesus for this is important,…”when He comes?” for we need LIVING faith when He comes.

These are the days He is talking about and these are perilous times when many are falling away and losing sight of God due to various circumstances.

In our day we have so many Bible Colleges, big crusades, Conferences, Revival meetings, DVD/CD messages, Christian messages on TVs and so one would think there would be more faith now!

It is not so for the Word of God has been watered down with many translations, etc. etc.

God has given faith to everyone Rom. 12: 3 and yet some seem to have more faith than others because faith can be developed or lost.

There are various degrees of faith as seen by its works. James 2: 20-22 says faith without works is dead.

No faith - Mk.4: 40

Little faith – Matt. 8: 26

Great faith Matt. 8: 10

Faith cannot be worked up or manufactured nor purchased.

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Rom.10: 17

Faith is the link between God and man and therefore needs to be preserved.

Faith is fed by the Word and preserved by prayer. Prayer of faith is a powerful weapon for healing the sick and even in spiritual warfare as ours is a faith fight.

Believers are to walk by faith and not by sight. Some people pray a lot and neglect the Word. We need a balance and the Word is the substance for strong faith and will not be easily shaken.

Heb. 11: 35- 40

Faith makes the spirit world real and prayer is the key to success in that world.

Prayer is not mechanical but it touches God and keeps your spirit alive.

This is the reason for quiet times of fellowship with the Lord with His Word and prayer DAILY

In this passage the Lord is teaching about persistent faith that gets the results. She had no faith in the unjust judge who did not fear God, but by her continual visits were for justice and he was the appointed judge! She won her case because she was persistent and determined to be avenged of her enemy.

When you lose sight of God you begin to waver – then try to hold on to straws from one message or the other.

However, when you know God has promised then your faith hangs on to Him for

HE IS RIGHTEOUS AND HOLY AND JUST AND HE CANNOT LIE NOR FAIL! Num. 23: 19 (read this)

The test of faith is your ability to stand firm on His Word in spite of circumstances that may contradict. GOD HAS SPOKEN AND THAT IS ENOUGH FOR FAITH!!

We need to check ourselves from time to time that we have not moved away from God. Is He still the One you love and the One Whom you are obeying and following? It is good to ask ourselves why we are doing what we do

The enemy seeks in every way possible to steal our faith or to distract us or divert us or to keep us very busy doing things for HIM instead of waiting to hear from HIM and do the will of God. Is your faith still in HIM?

DO NOY LOSE YOUR FAITH IN HIM!

DO YOUR WORK!

Posted by Margaret Wright on November 24, 2010 at 9:54 PM Comments comments (0)

DO YOUR WORK

Keep about your work that God has given you.

Do not flinch because the lion roars, do not stop to stone the devil's dogs. Do not fool away your time chasing the devil's rabbits.

DO YOUR WORK!

Let liars lie, let corporations resolve,

Let the devil do his worst;

But see to it that nothing hinders you from fulfilling the work that God has given you.

DO YOUR WORK!

He has not commanded you to get rich.

He has never bidden you to defend your character.

He has not set you at work to contradict falsehood (about yourself) which Satan and servants may start to peddle.

If you do these things, you will do nothing else;

You will be at work for yourself and not for the Lord.

KEEP AT YOUR WORK!

Let your aim be as steady as a star.

You may be assaulted, wronged, insulted, slandereed, wounded and rejected of men.

But see to it that with steadfast determination, with unfaltering zeal,

That you pursue the great purpose of your life and object of your being until at last you can say,

"I have finished the work which You gave me to do."

CONFESSION OF EVERY CHILD OF GOD

CONFESSION OF EVERY CHILD OF GOD

I am what God says I am in Christ Jesus!

This revelation of God concerning me is found in His Holy Word. Sense knowledge (the knowledge gained through seeing, hearing, smelling, touching and tasting) and my varying circumstances may not reveal the same and in reality contradict this revelation, but when I stand on the naked Word of God alone, God confirms His Word.

God is eternal and unchanging and His Word is eternal and unchanging. He cannot lie! God cannot fail. God cannot put His people to shame that put their trust in Him! God cannot make a mistake! God watches over His Word to confirm it! Hallelujah!

I am a child of God. John l : 12

I am an heir of God and joint-heir with Christ. Romans 8: 17

I am the righteousness of God in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5: 21

I am the temple of the Holy Ghost. 1 Corinthians 6: 19

I am the apple of His eye. Zec. 2: 8

I am an ambassador for Christ. 1 Corinthians 5: 20

I am free from condemnation. Romans 8: 1

I am more than a conqueror. Romans 8: 37

I am the salt of the earth. Mathew 5: 13

I am the light of the world. Mathew 5: 14 & Ephesians 5: 8

I am a member of the household of faith. Galatians 6: 10

I am a branch of the True Vine. John 15: 5

I am the will of God. James l: 18

I am in the palm of the Lord’s Hand. Isaiah 49: 16

I am covered by the shadow of His Hand. Isaiah 51: 6

I am loved by God as much as He loves Jesus. John 17: 23

I am in God’s Hand and none can pluck me out. John 10: 29

I am delivered from sin. Romans 6: 7

I am healed from sicknesses. 1 Peter 2: 24

I am complete in Him. Colossians 2: 10

I am seated in heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 2: 6

I am delivered from the power of darkness & translated into His Kingdom. Col. 1: 13

I am redeemed from the curse of the law. Galatians 3: 13

I am dead to sin and alive to God. Romans 6: 11

I am in Christ. 1 Corinthians 1: 30

I am hidden with Christ in God. Colossians 3: 3

The above Scriptures should be read and the same should become our confession. Think of what this means. God has taken you out of darkness and put you in Christ. You have been taken out of sin and put into Christ. In Christ there is no sin and you are in Christ. In Christ there is no sickness and you are in Christ. In Christ there is no fear, no lack, no defeat, no unrighteousness, no condemnation, and you are in Him. Your feelings may not confirm this but the Bible declares it to be so. The Bible is the Word of God.

God cannot lie! Hallelujah!

The new creation has dominion over the old. Old things have passed away. Think of what this means. Satan has no power over the new creation. Sickness has no power over the new creation and sin has no power over the new creation. In Christ the sinner stands transformed. You are saved, justified and sanctified and accepted in the Beloved.

You can enjoy this reality when you confess God’s Word and believe in your heart.

These truths will liberate you and you are invincible in any situation. Refuse to agree with sense knowledge, circumstances and feelings when they disagree with the truths of the Bible.

Make God’s Word the standard of you’re your life.

“Now thanks be unto God which always causeth us to triumph in Christ.” 2 Cor. 2: 14
